Fit Expo Packing List & Travel Tips
As you prepare for an exciting experience at FitExpo '24, here’s a handy guide to help you pack everything you'll need for a comfortable and enjoyable time at East Carolina University.
Weather Considerations:
- The weather in eastern North Carolina can be unpredictable, with conditions changing day by day. We recommend keeping an eye on the weather forecast for Greenville, NC (zip code 27858) as the event approaches and packing accordingly.
- Given that activities will span across the Main Campus Student Center (MCSC) and the Eakin Student Recreation Center (ESRC), and considering there's a brief 5-minute walk outdoors between these buildings, bringing a light jacket or an item you can easily throw on will ensure you stay comfortable while moving between sessions.
For the Social Event:
- The FitExpo '24 social, graciously sponsored by BetterYou, promises to be a highlight of the weekend and will take place at Stilllife, a chic venue featuring an indoor area and a covered rooftop. To get a feel for the ambiance and layout, we encourage you to take a virtual tour of Stilllife.
- Hors d'oeuvres will be served, and non-alcoholic beverages will be complimentary, allowing you to mingle and enjoy the evening in style.
- Important: Please make sure to wear your purple conference wristband to the social for identification and access. Also, don't forget to bring your driver's license or state-issued ID for entry.
- Seamless travel is on us — enjoy complimentary shuttle service directly from the conference hotels to Stilllife and back, available from 6:45 PM to 10:30 PM in 30-minute increments. The last shuttle departs Stilllife at 10:15pm
