Fit Expo Packing List & Travel Tips
As you prepare for an exciting experience at FitExpo '25, here’s a handy guide to help you pack everything you'll need for a comfortable and enjoyable time as you join the pack at North Carolina State University.
Weather Considerations:
- The weather in Raleigh-Durham area can be unpredictable, with conditions changing day by day. We recommend keeping an eye on the weather forecast for Raleigh, NC (zip code 27695) as the event approaches and packing accordingly.
- All activities will be hosted at the Wellness and Recreation Center and Carmichael Gym, except for the Directors' Brunch on Sunday, which will be held at the Talley Student Center across the street. Parking is available within a 5-minute walk from the Wellness and Recreation Center. We recommend bringing a light jacket or pullover for comfort during your visit to NCSU.

- Access Requirements: Please wear your conference wristband for identification and entry.
- ID Reminder: Bring your driver's license or state-issued ID.
- Parking: Complimentary parking is available in the attached garage. For larger vehicles, limited street parking is accessible around the venue. Overflow parking can be across the street in the construction area and rock climbing gym. We recommend using rideshare if possible.

To ensure you have the best experience at FitExpo '25, here’s a list of recommended items to bring along:

- Water Bottle: Bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the event, as bottles will not be provided at check-in.
- Yoga Mat: Essential for all attendees. Ensure you pack a yoga mat for various sessions requiring one.
- Sweat Towel: Keep cool and dry during those intense workout sessions with a handy towel.
- Paper/Pen/iPad: Something to take notes on!
- Workout Outfits: Pack multiple outfits to stay fresh throughout the full schedule of activities.
- Layering Options: Temperatures can vary, so a jacket, sweatshirt, or long-sleeved tee is recommended for lectures and in between sessions.
- Swim Suit: If you're diving into any aqua workshops, don't forget to bring your swim gear.
- Spin Shoes: For cycle sessions, SPD Compatible Bike Cleats are recommended. If you don’t have bike cleats, our Schwinn Z-Bikes also accommodate cross-trainers with straps.
- Heels for Dance: If you’re joining the Hips & Heels dance session, bring a pair of heels. Cross-trainers work too if you forget your heels.
- Music for Demo Team Members: Ensure your music is prepped if you’re performing with a Demo Team.
- Snacks: Although your registration includes lunch on Saturday and access to a Fuel Station, packing additional snacks is a good idea.
