Welcome to FitExpo '24 at East Carolina University! To ensure your visit is hassle-free, we've prepared a comprehensive guide to help you navigate parking during the event:

Important Note for Larger Vehicles:
Arriving early is recommended to secure a convenient parking spot and to give yourself ample time to make your way to the Main Campus Student Center for check-in and the opening session each day. Should you require assistance with parking or have any further questions, our friendly event staff will be readily available to assist you.
Where to Park:
- Surface Lots: We recommend using the surface lots located between the Main Campus Student Center (MCSC) and the Eakin Student Recreation Center (ESRC), as well as the lot at the Life Sciences & Biotech Building for your convenience. These lots are spacious and provide easy access to the event venues.
- Parking Garage: Additional parking is available in the parking garage attached to the MCSC for attendees. This option is perfect once the surface lots are utilized or for those with personal vehicles preferring covered parking.
When to Park:
- Surface Lots: Parking in the surface lots is available starting at 4pm on Friday, February 16th.
- Parking Garage: The parking garage opens for event parking at 5pm on Friday, February 16th.
Important Note for Larger Vehicles:
- Vehicles such as large 12-15 passenger vans are unable to fit in the parking garage due to height restrictions. We kindly ask that those requiring larger parking spaces use the surface lot parking.

Heading to the pre-conference certifications this Friday and driving yourself? Please use the parking garage for your vehicle. Remember to bring along your parking ticket when you come in for the event - we'll take care of validating it for you while you're busy with your training sessions.
We're excited to host all certification sessions at the Eakin Student Recreation Center. It's going to be a great day of learning!
For those driving a larger university van, we kindly ask that you notify us in advance. Please email [email protected] with your van's make, model, and license plate number, and specify if it has government tags. This helps us ensure parking is managed smoothly for everyone.
